De Mole Brooklyn

Chef Jose Luis Flores has every single reason to be proud of what he’s brought to Williamsburg’s restaurant scene. The food at De Mole is some of the best Mexican in NYC, period. It’s also one of the best first date spots in the city (especially if you want to keep it somewhat casual), with incredible, authentic Mexican food and awesome drinks. Besides their signature Pollo con Mole Pablano (a stellar take on an iconic Mexican sauce built around layers of deep flavor, including chili and chocolate), this spot offers everything from some of the most delicious tacos in the borough to plenty of vegetarian options, including their enchiladas. On the weekends they offer a 2-hour tapas-style brunch for $55, which includes unlimited food and drinks (there’s also a $45 option that only includes food). The drinks are top-notch, the food is can’t-miss, and De Mole is a must-visit when in Brooklyn.
