Gazab manages to dish a fabulous taste of India out of its tiny but formidable walls here in New York. Where it may fall short in physical space, it’s highly compensated by its impressive menu of unique South Asian eats that hit a special spot, coupled with that warm Indian hospitality that makes you feel especially welcomed. The Chef-Owner duo created something quite magical with their innovative renditions of authentic Indian cuisine and we couldn’t be happier to savor their best efforts. Visiting Gazab and not trying the 70’s Chicken Tikka Masala would be a complete crime- the creamy gravy is extremely hearty and delicious. The Bokchoy Chaat is a popular go-to and we surely understand why; it is divine. Holding a special place in our hearts, Gazab is truly an exceptional vegetarian-friendly restaurant on Essex Street we’d be popping in often.
