Laying its Latin roots deep in Queens, The Cuban brings such a tasty slice of Cuba to the district. Inside its flamboyant walls holds an undeniably pulsing atmosphere, energetic music, and vibrant art that set the mood for an exciting culinary experience. The starters took us straight to the island- one bite of the Tostones Rellones (fried green plantain cups stuffed with ground beef or shrimp) and I immediately felt the warm welcome of Cuba. Our mains came with an extra side of flavor which dazzled our tastebuds with an authentic kick in each bite. Of course, there’s booze to this brunch! We washed down our food and live weekend entertainment with bottomless mimosas and champagne punch (our favorite). With mouth-watering dishes and a slew of specialty cocktails, The Cuban is a lively brunch spot worth experiencing first-hand!
