The Dumplin Cove
Once known as the Dumpling Shop, the eponymous Dumpling Cove is named for its famous hot and fresh dumplings. Set in a family-friendly, clean reggae atmosphere, this spot only serves the Jamaican classics—bammy, brown stew chicken, curry goat, steamed fish, cornmeal porridge, and of course fresh and flaky yet soft dumplings. With polished wood floors and tables, and outside casual dining, the place feels airy and open pulling in a relaxed crowd with a penchant for home cooking. The chef takes his time and the fully flavored ackee and saltfish is a neighborhood favorite among the lineup of classic Jamaican entrees. Right on the edge of the 95 South, it’s proximity to the highway makes a link up breezy.
