This Latinx owned gastropub serves as a cool hangout spot for West Midwood locals. Known for great vibes and American-Latin comfort food, our favorite plates include their crispy cauliflower, mango habanero wings, and lobster rolls. And of course, they also whip up an eclectic assortment of cocktails, bringing top-shelf spirits to life with Mexican ingredients like cinnamon syrup and epazote. The ambience is as cozy and welcoming as it is flexible—its fireplace is perfect for a date night or hosting a family meal, while the small sports bar is great for a night out with the crew. With Happy Hour knocking prices down to as little as $6 a cocktail, and brunch offering chilaquiles and huevos rancheros alongside a mimosa-of-the-day, it’s a great destination any time of day, any day of the week. Only founded in 2020, Westwood Bar already feels like a neighborhood staple, and we certainly hope it’s here to stay.
